Dama BioPlastics Partners with the Groundbreaking Polestar 0 Project

Welcome to a New Era of Sustainable Automotive Innovation!

Dama BioPlastics, a trailblazer in sustainable biomaterials, is thrilled to announce its exclusive partnership with the groundbreaking Polestar 0 Project. As the exclusive North American partner, Dama BioPlastics was thrilled to showcase its revolutionary Dama Black material at the recent Polestar Day event.

Launched in 2021, the Polestar 0 Project represents a bold step towards a complete transformation of the automotive industry. While the shift to Electric Vehicles (EVs) significantly reduces tailpipe emissions, Polestar recognizes the pressing need to address greenhouse gas emissions originating from production processes. The ambitious goal of the Polestar 0 Project is nothing short of eliminating greenhouse gases throughout the entire supply chain, from the extraction of raw materials to material and vehicle production, delivery, and end-of-life considerations, all without resorting to misleading offsetting schemes.

Hans Pehrson, Head of the Polestar 0 Project, shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "It is only through collective action that we can achieve the breakthroughs that truly make a difference and find transformative solutions that go beyond the car industry. To have the possibility to do research together with fantastic partners is not only an opportunity but also something which is very important on this challenging topic. Their deep knowledge within their respective areas is invaluable on the journey to eliminating greenhouse gases."

Dama BioPlastics: Leading the Charge Toward Sustainability
